What did everyone do this weekend?

We had a wonderful weekend. We spent yesterday at the State Fair. My 3 yr old had a blast on the rides, and we got plenty of yummy fattening fair food 🙂 I made cupcakes with my little one on Saturday and we spent lots of time outside enjoying the beautiful cool weather we’ve been having here in NC.

On Saturday we had a baby shower for our daughter-in-law. This is our first grandchildren due December 5.
On Sunday we had a going away party for our son-in-law who is being deployed to Iraq. He has been out of the Marnies for 15 months and is being re-activated.
🙁 He will be gone from home for 12 months.
